Job summary

Protingent Staffing is seeking a Senior Aircraft Data Loader Systems Engineer for a contract‑to‑hire role in the Patuxent River, MD area. You will oversee avionics data loader systems, perform vendor evaluations, and drive testing and integration with a focus on data storage and processing architectures.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Engineering with 8+ years of experience, including 3+ years in US Navy acquisition programs, and familiarity with NAVAIR SETR processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline with at least 8 years of professional experience.
• Minimum of 3 years supporting US Navy acquisition programs.
• Experience with NAVAIR SETR processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee avionics data loader systems and platform integration.
• Participate in vendor evaluation and SETR processes.
• Perform hands‑on testing, diagnostics, and integration in lab environments.
• Provide technical direction for US Navy data storage and processing architectures.
