Job summary

DCS Corporation is seeking a senior systems engineer for avionics data storage and processing experience at Patuxent River Naval Air Station. The Aircraft Data Loader Engineer will assess vendor solutions for US Navy data storage, retrieval, and processing, working with aviation professionals on mission-critical programs.

The role emphasizes collaboration across engineering teams, systems engineering reviews, and ensuring integration of data loaders with aircraft systems in lab and field

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with at least 8 years of experience; 3 of which should be supporting US Navy acquisitions.
• Secret clearance is required.
• Experience with NAVAIR SETR processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development of aircraft data loader avionics.
• Participate in System Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process.
• Evaluate vendor designs and requirements documents for technical accuracy.
• Provide technical expertise supporting system designs and data loader integration efforts.
• Testing and troubleshooting data loaders in lab environments and coordinating with other engineers for aircraft integrations.

DCS is seeking a senior systems engineer with avionics data storage and data processing experience!

Join our team supporting mission-critical aviation programs at Patuxent River Naval Air Station. As an Aircraft Data Loader Engineer, you will play an important role in evaluating vendor solutions for US Navy aircraft data storage, data retrieval, and data processing.

This position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineering and aviation professionals in a dynamic environment supporting U.S. Navy aviation operations.

Essential Job Functions:

Oversee the development of advanced aircraft data loader avionics.

Participate in Systems Engineering Technical Review process.

Evaluate vendor design and requirements documents for technical accuracy.

Provide technical expertise supporting system designs and aircraft data loader integration efforts.

Testing and troubleshooting data loaders in lab environments and working with other engineers for aircraft integrations.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline with at least 8 years of experience; 3 of which should be supporting US Navy acquisitions.

Secret Clearance.

Experience with NAVAIR Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) processes.

Desired Skills:

Master's degree in systems engineering with a concentration in avionics.

Experience working on US Navy aircraft data recording and storage devices.

Pay Range and Benefits

There are a variety of factors that can influence salary at DCS Corp, including but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

Salary Range: $90,220 - $140,000
