Job summary

ACI Jet seeks an Aircraft and Crew Manager (ACM) to lead assigned aircraft and crew, performing duties as a Part 91/135 pilot under EJM oversight. Based at San Luis Obispo County Airport (KSBP) with a two-hour drive requirement, you will manage owner relations, crew deployment, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

You will recruit crewmembers, mentor pilots, and coordinate maintenance with the Director of Maintenance while guaranteeing accurate accounting and owner reporting.

Qualifications

• 3,500 hours total time
• 2,000 hours PIC
• 1,500 hours multi-engine
• 300 hours instrument
• CL-604 Type Rating highly desired
• ATP with English proficient endorsement
• Meets ICAO Annex I, Section 2.1.10 requirements
• Meets all EJM Charter Pilot eligibility requirements
• First Class Medical
• United States Passport
• Reside within 2-hour drive of San Luis Obispo County Airport (KSBP)
• Highly motivated and organized

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with ACI Jet Flight Operations Management and aircraft Owner to ensure operational success.
• Oversee the relationship with the aircraft owner and owner satisfaction with the operation.
• Coordinate aircraft owner travel and support when not on trip.
• Recruit or assist in recruitment of crewmembers for the account.
• Assign crew to all operations and balance workload among crewmembers.
• Ensure crewmembers are competent in their duties.
• Ensure aircraft is properly outfitted for client and operations.
• Coordinate aircraft maintenance with Director of Maintenance.
• Verify monthly invoices and prepare owner reports.
• Mentor other pilots on the account and develop their skills.
• Fulfill PIC/SIC duties when assigned.
• Act as SME for the aircraft type and provide informed responses.
• Operate managed aircraft safely per SOPs, GOMM, and regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service to owners and charter clients.
• Stay updated on applicable SOPs and GOMM sections.
• Perform thorough pre-flight inspections covering aircraft, publications, equipment, fuel, weather, and permits.

Education

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or 3-5 years of professional aviation experience
