West Star Aviation Inc. seeks an experienced Lead Interior Cabinet Technician for the 2nd shift in East Alton, IL. The role leads modification, repair, refurbishment and fabrication of aircraft cabinets, with emphasis on independent work, supervision, and quality control.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in aircraft cabinetry, a high school diploma or equivalent, and supervisory training. Strong initiative, reliability, and FAA guideline compliance are essential.

Competenze

• 8+ years prior experience in aircraft cabinets.
• Exclusive knowledge in all areas of the job.
• Completion of supervisory training classes preferred.

Mansioni

• Independently manage cabinet modifications and installations by coordinating with the team to determine workflow.
• Perform quality checks, supervise and assign daily activities.
• Train, coach and mentor interior technicians to develop job knowledge and performance.
• Prepare and deliver annual performance evaluations of assigned team members.
• Assist with engineering on design for major modification projects.
• Remove, repair and modify aircraft cabinets with minimal supervision.
• Complete daily turnover sheets and work order processes.
