Job summary
Lightspeed Aviation in Lake Oswego, OR is seeking a Senior Systems & Acoustics Engineer to lead architecture, acoustic performance, system integration, and next-generation technology development for premium aviation headsets.
Under the EVP of Product Innovation & Quality, you will drive feasibility, define architecture, and optimize performance while collaborating with embedded software, DSP, product management, and manufacturing teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant product development experience.
- Experience designing and analyzing complete audio systems.
- Experience defining product architectures from concept to production.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain system architectures, requirements, and performance budgets.
- Lead design, analysis, optimization, and validation of acoustic systems and signal paths.
- Conduct trade studies to evaluate technologies and design approaches.
- Research and mature new technologies for future products and IP development.
- Provide technical leadership to internal/external teams across product development.
- Characterize product performance using modeling, testing, and field evaluation.
