Metrea in Tampa seeks a Senior Field Service Representative to install, configure, maintain, and sustain airborne ISR mission systems. You will troubleshoot, perform field repairs, and validate system readiness to support real-world ISR missions.

The role requires hands-on experience with RF, IP networking, and patch management, plus the ability to work independently and mentor small teams. Security and safety compliance are essential in this high-stakes environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or 12 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of relevant experience.
• DoD 8140 IAT Level 2 – IAM Level 1.
• Experience mentoring or leading small technical teams.
• Operate independently with minimal oversight.
• Experience with configuration management principles and airworthiness processes.
• Demonstrated systems thinking and impact evaluation.
• Professional maturity and leadership potential.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain airborne ISR systems and sensors.
• Perform pre-mission checks, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Run Windows and Linux admin tasks, scripting, and patching.
• Use test equipment to isolate faults and validate performance.
• Configure and secure TCP/IP mission networks and routing.
• Diagnose RF, power, and network interface faults from schematics.
• Load software, apply firmware updates, and manage baselines.
• Support integration of new hardware/software with engineering teams.
• Maintain handling of CCI and GFE components per security rules.
• Ensure safety, airworthiness, and OPS compliance during work.
• Provide field reports to support root-cause analysis and improvements.
• Engage stakeholders; communicate capabilities and needs clearly.
