Job summary

Metrea is hiring a technical specialist to install, configure, and sustain airborne ISR mission systems in a demanding hangar and flightline environment. You will troubleshoot field issues, perform software and firmware updates, and support lifecycle sustainment for mission capabilities.

The role requires hands-on expertise with RF test gear and RF signal paths, plus experience in Windows/Linux administration and network configuration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 6+ years of related work experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience supporting airborne ISR mission systems in deployed or field environments.
• Proficient in radar fundamentals and modes of operation.
• Skilled with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, power meters, network analyzers).
• Strong understanding of RF signal paths, IP-based interfaces, and TCP/IP routing.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain airborne ISR mission systems and related equipment.
• Perform pre-mission checks and field-level troubleshooting to ensure readiness.
• Conduct Windows and Linux system administration, scripting, and patch management.
• Interpret test data from equipment to isolate faults and validate performance.
• Configure mission networks with routing, VLANs, and secure links.
• Support integration and validation of new hardware/software with engineering teams.
