Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Systems Engineer (Air-to-Ground) to lead radar system architectures and SEIT activities across multiple programs. The role is 100% on-site in Linthicum, MD, requiring a strong background in RF, processing, software, and platform integration.

You will guide trade studies, verification, and customer-facing technical reviews while mentoring junior engineers. The ideal candidate has a senior track record in radar or RF sensor programs, active Secret Clearance, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of experience or advanced degree with equivalent years.
• Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance required; SAP access possible.
• Experience leading radar/air-to-ground programs and system integration.
• Proven modeling/analysis capability for radar performance and end-to-end link budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of radar system architectures for air-to-ground missions.
• Define system requirements, performance budgets, and interfaces across teams.
• Direct trade studies on waveforms, antenna design, and CONOPS.
• Oversee radar performance modeling, verification strategies, and tests.
• Interface with customers, present technical approaches and roadmaps.
• Mentor engineers and drive disciplined configuration control and traceability.
