Job summary

Rose Rock Environmental Services, LLC in Oklahoma City seeks a Senior Air Quality Professional to lead air permitting and compliance projects from planning through delivery. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in air quality consulting, strong knowledge of EPA rules, and experience with emissions calculations and modeling tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, or related field.
• 7+ years of air quality consulting or industry experience.
• Knowledge of environmental permitting, regulatory compliance, and EPA requirements.
• Experience with emissions calculation tools (e.g., ProMax, AP-42, TANKS 5).
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage air permitting projects including Title V, NSR/PSD, minor sources.
• Develop emissions inventories for oil & gas and industrial facilities.
• Advise on air regulations (NSPS OOOO/a/b/c, NESHAP, ODEQ, and TCEQ rules).
• Manage compliance reporting, including emissions inventories and GHG (Subpart W).
• Oversee LDAR and air monitoring programs, including data review and reporting.
• Serve as a primary client contact and represent clients with regulatory agencies.
• Review technical work from junior staff and provide mentoring and QA/QC.
• Support business development through proposals, scoping, and client relationships.

Role Description

Rose Rock is seeking a Senior Air Quality Professional to join our team in Oklahoma City. The ideal candidate is an experienced air permitting and compliance professional who can manage projects from start to finish, helping clients meet regulatory requirements and make informed project decisions. This role will guide projects from planning and permitting through design and delivery, coordinating technical teams and communicating clearly with clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project scope, schedules, research, data collection, and client communication for air permitting projects, including Title V, NSR/PSD, and minor source permits.
• Develop emissions inventories and calculations for oil & gas and industrial facilities.
