Job summary

Sanborn Head & Associates, Inc. is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our team in one of our New England offices.

You will work with engineers and scientists on challenging air services projects, including air emissions estimation, permitting, and dispersion modeling for solid waste, industrial, and energy facilities. This role offers a fast-paced environment with opportunities to contribute to project outcomes, interact with Principals, and grow professionally.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in air permitting and regulatory compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or Earth/Atmospheric Science or a related discipline (Master’s preferred).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is not required but preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of technical reports, data tables, specifications, and other deliverables.
• Prepare air emissions estimates for various equipment and facility types.
• Prepare air permit applications.
• Prepare routine and non-routine air permit compliance reports.
• Review and interpret air compliance data.
• Review and interpret air regulations.
• Perform air dispersion modeling; prepare related reports and documentation.
• Advise clients on complex air permitting pathways and air emissions controls.
• Systematically manage air permit compliance tracking monthly for multiple large clients with multiple facilities.
• Prepare proposals and budgets for clients with multiple facilities for various air permitting and compliance projects.
• Coordinate with project team members and clients.
