Job summary

Altus Technology Solutions LLC seeks a Senior Air Operations Manager to support DoD air training exercises. Lead aviation operations on the range, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with range users for mission readiness.

This role requires deep expertise in airspace management, aviation safety, and extensive operations coordination. The position involves directing mission execution, reviewing ATO changes, and partnering with FAA and Army range control to maintain operational readiness

Qualifications

• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance.
• Extensive knowledge of airspace management and aviation safety.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of military aviation operations experience.
• Experience with large-scale training exercises and FAA coordination.

Responsibilities

• Oversee aviation operations on the range and ensure safety compliance.
• Coordinate with Mission Commander and range users to develop safe mission plans.
• Maintain liaison with Operations Supervision, RCO, FAA, and exercise participants.
• Review and adjust Air Tasking Order (ATO) changes as required for safety.
• Schedule range activities using RFMSS and CSE; support daily mission execution.
• Develop daily Drop Plans for US Air Force units and coordinate approvals.
