Job summary

FreightTAS LLC in Houston seeks a Senior Air Export Operations Coordinator to manage end-to-end air freight exports. You will handle receiving, booking, routing, tracking, and invoicing, while negotiating rates and tracking costs with emphasis on accuracy and customer service.

The role requires 7–10 years in air freight operations, international exposure, and strong communication skills to liaise with customers, vendors, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of Air Freight Operations and Air Exports experience.
• International and intercontinental exposure preferred.
• Strong written and verbal client communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, book, route, track, and process air cargo entries.
• Negotiate rates, track costs, invoice, and report.
• Use Descartes OneView or IES to transport air cargo.
• Coordinate with warehouse for receiving, checking, packing.
• Work with operations and sales to ensure proper handling and pricing.
• Prepare documentation, status reports, job costing and postings.
• Prioritize daily duties with supervisor.
• Present operational and technical information to customers and vendors.

Location: Houston/South IAH Airport

Salary - $70k to $80k base and excellent benefits package

Full-time - Office based - 5 days a week

Job Description:

Air Freight Operations means more than being a cog in a bigger assembly line.

With a focus on Exports, a Senior Air Operations Coordinator is responsible for everything from receiving, booking, routing and tracking air cargo, rate negotiation, and invoicing our clients. This dynamic team experiences the full lifecycle of a customer and develops meaningful relationships through their work with our customers, vendors, and internal organization.

Successful candidates should have high attention to detail, operational efficiency, customer relationship aptitude, and time management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Receiving, booking, routing, tracking, and processing air cargo entries
• Rate negotiation, cost tracking, invoicing, and reporting
• Leveraging Descartes OneView or IES system to transport air cargo
• Working alongside warehouse personnel to ensure accurate receiving, checking,
• packing, and material handling
• Work in concert with all operations and sales personnel to ensure eicient material

• Cradle to grave freight forwarding (A-Z process)
• International and intercontinental experience
• Comfort working cross-culturally in an international context
• Domestic, Dispatching, Imports, or Air Operations experience a plus!
• Ability to use Reporting Systems
• Familiarity with tools and technology
• Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Office Suite
• Basic geography and mathematics

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in logistics or
