Job summary

Google LLC in Austin, TX, USA seeks a Senior Engineering Analyst/Tech Lead in Trust and Safety SAGE to scale automated safety evaluation platforms for GenAI products. You will own the autorater infrastructure powering real‑time launch decisions and offline testing.

You will partner with Product, Search Core and GDM teams to align roadmaps, drive safety guardrails, and ensure model integrity and privacy in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in data analysis, including identifying trends, generating summary statistics, and drawing insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
• 5 years of experience in the anti-abuse domain, with a focus on signal analysis, model development, data analysis, and cyber security.
• Experience programming in SQL, Python, or Golang.

Responsibilities

• Establish metrics and benchmark Generative‑AI issues; develop datasets and run evals for engineers.
• Drive project delivery with technical judgment and manage interdependent projects of moderate to high complexity.
• Improve tools through data analysis and presentations to stakeholders; enhance workflows with automation opportunities.
• Design, develop, and scale production‑grade LLM‑as‑a‑judge autoraters and automated evaluation systems for real‑time decisions.
• Partner with Product, Search Core, and GDM engineering teams to align technical roadmaps and cross‑product risk.
