Job summary

Deloitte is seeking an Engineering Transformation Senior Consultant to drive technology-focused client delivery within the Engineering as a Service team. You will lead IT transformation initiatives, design AI-enabled solutions using Claude, and guide cross-functional teams through requirements, design, and deployment, while maintaining schedules and budgets.

Ideal candidates will have extensive consulting experience, strong program leadership, and a proven ability to translate business needs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information sciences, technology, computer science, or related field.
• 4+ years' experience in a consulting firm, working on large scale IT transformation projects in the commercial sector.
• 6+ years' experience in IT project management, engineering transformation, and business analysis including tech modernization.
• At least 1 year hands-on experience developing AI solutions using Anthropic Claude models.
• 1+ years leading project workstreams or engagements, translating business problems into AI solutions.
• 2+ years managing small onshore and offshore IT teams.
• 1+ years transforming the SCLC to AI SDLC using Claude Code and Cowork.
• Advanced proficiency with Confluence and JIRA; strong reporting in consulting/tech environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive technology-focused client delivery across complex engagements.
• Lead end-to-end IT transformation projects with focus on innovation and resiliency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize DevOps toolchains.
• Develop project plans and manage delivery of key technology initiatives.
• Coordinate between business stakeholders and engineering teams for enterprise change control.
• Design and build Generative AI and agentic solutions using Claude.
• Lead small teams through requirements gathering and design phases.
• Maintain project scope, schedule, and resource plans; adjust as needed.
• Identify risks early and implement mitigations; communicate with stakeholders.
