23andMe, headquartered in California, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and operate agentic AI pipelines that turn vast genetic data into personalized health insights. You will orchestrate LLMs, ground outputs with genetic context, and ensure reliability through CI/CD and testing.

The role requires hands-on experience with agentic AI systems, RAG architectures, Python, and Terraform on AWS, in a hybrid SF Bay Area environment.

Competenze

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent; 4+ years of industry experience.
• Hands-on experience building agentic AI systems and LLM-powered pipelines in production.
• Experience with RAG architectures and vector stores.
• Strong instincts around LLM evaluation for health products.
• Proficiency with Python and related scientific libraries (pandas, pytorch).
• Infrastructure as code experience, ideally Terraform on AWS, containerized in Docker.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD deployment pipelines and testing frameworks.
• Team player attitude with cross-functional collaboration across the organization.
