Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced engineering leader to advance AI/ML capabilities for spaceflight programs in Denver, Colorado. The role focuses on designing end-to-end AI/ML pipelines, integrating LLM-based solutions, and coordinating cross-functional efforts across engineering, production, and supply chain to manage cost, schedule, and risk.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 10+ years industry experience in launch system engineering development and/or operations.
• Strong AI/ML foundation and software engineering skills or hands-on experience with LLMs and AI agent frameworks.
• Experience leading system-level technical trade studies.
• Demonstrated program/project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy end-to-end AI/ML pipelines for scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and agile program management.
• Understand data sources, manage data collection and pre-processing, labeling, and data outputs.
• Develop LLM-integrated systems with memory and retrieval-augmented generation capabilities.
• Coordinate production engineering changes and project schedules to integrate changes into vehicle and production systems.
• Collaborate across engineering, production, supply chain, and design to resolve non-conformances and ensure value engineering.
