Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer for AI Studio to lead the technical delivery of complex AI and automation solutions across the AI&D organization. You will drive discovery, design, build, evaluation, and production deployment of AI-enabled, enterprise-scale solutions with governance and security considerations.

You will work with stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to shape simple, viable solutions, ensuring production readiness, performance, and measurable value while

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master's with extensive CS/IT experience required.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in Python and SQL for production systems.
• Experience delivering AI/ML solutions in enterprise environments.
• Ability to engineer end-to-end AI platforms and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and define value hypotheses, acceptance criteria, and data readiness.
• Design executable delivery plans, milestones, and risk assessments for AI projects.
• Build and review production components including AI-enabled apps and integrations.
• Define integrated architecture across data, models, and enterprise systems.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, data science, and security.
