Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer for its AI Studio within the AI & Data Science organization. You will own production components for enterprise AI products, collaborating with business partners to turn challenges into scalable AI solutions.

You will design and implement Python, SQL, API and data components, apply GenAI, RAG and agent concepts, and ensure reliability with CI/CD, monitoring and security practices. Experience with LangChain and cloud platforms is valued.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in CS, AI, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years in CS/IT.
• Associate’s degree with 6+ years in CS/IT.
• High school diploma with 8+ years in CS/IT.

Responsibilities

• Define component boundaries and acceptance criteria with partners.
• Design Python/SQL/API/data components with clear contracts.
• Develop GenAI, RAG and agent components.
• Build data pipelines with schema validation and provenance.
• Release components using cloud services and CI/CD.
