Job summary

Sand Cherry Associates seeks a Senior Consultant to lead AI strategy discovery for a global telecommunications client. You will drive discovery, shape an actionable AI roadmap, and align cross-functional leaders around strategic recommendations.

The role requires 8+ years in strategy, deep telecom AI experience, and exceptional presentation skills to communicate complex concepts to executives. Hybrid work with some onsite days in Denver or Philadelphia.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience advising executive stakeholders (CIO/CTO level).
Deep telecommunications experience required.
Strong background in AI, digital transformation, or advanced technology strategy.
Proven ability to lead enterprise discovery and stakeholder interviews.
Excellent analytical and presentation skills; experience with governance models and dashboards.

Responsibilities

Lead discovery efforts with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to identify AI opportunities and impact.
Refine ideas through research and industry experience to uncover additional opportunities.
Evaluate AI opportunities by effort and business impact and develop a prioritization framework.
Create a data-driven AI strategy and present it in executive-ready PowerPoint presentations.
Socialize the strategy with senior leadership and the AI Committee; refine as needed.
Design an AI initiative tracking dashboard with KPIs and success metrics.
Develop an AI governance model, including RACI and operating standards.
Produce project plans and roadmaps identifying risks and dependencies.
