ConsultNet Technology Services and Solutions is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer III for our client in the Salt Lake City region. The role combines senior software craftsmanship with AI-focused system design across full-stack technologies including C#, React, Node.js, Python, and JavaScript.

The position is hybrid (onsite 3x/week) with a long-term contract-to-hire potential, offering a $62.50–$72.12/hr pay rate ($130–$150K/yr).

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong hands-on coding in C# and modern web apps with React.
• Proficiency across full-stack technologies (React, Node.js, Python, JavaScript, jQuery, APIs).
• Passion for AI with production deployment experience and mentoring ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of AI-powered applications from discovery to production.
• Architect end-to-end solutions across front-end, backend, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Build and integrate solutions using C#, React, Node.js, Python, and JavaScript.
• Design knowledge-capture and retrieval pipelines using speech-to-text and LLMs.
• Develop AI-enabled automation to improve engineering workflows.
• Define requirements, pilot scope, success metrics, and deployment approaches.
• Rapidly prototype, test, and productionize scalable AI solutions.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging AI technologies into production apps.
• Create engineering-ready documentation and knowledge resources.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive adoption of AI-enabled solutions.
