Job summary

Praxent is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to own engagements end-to-end, from discovery to production in client environments. You will lead architecture decisions, guide engineers, and ensure delivery with strong collaboration across client teams.

You bring 6+ years shipping production software, experience with LLM/agentic systems, and a track record in banking or payments. A hybrid, high-impact role within a regulated setting awaits.

Qualifications

• 6+ years shipping production software, including hands-on delivery of LLM and agentic systems.
• Client leadership experience with discovery meetings and scoping decisions.
• Hands-on delivery of full-stack software; Python focus with .NET/Node alternatives.
• Experience integrating AI with legacy and governed systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical execution of the engagement from discovery to production.
• Lead client conversations and translate problems into architecture.
• Make architecture decisions and defend them to engineers and stakeholders.
• Guide a small engineering team and raise the bar on code quality.
• Deliver a production-grade system with guardrails, observability, and documentation.
