Bausch + Lomb in the United States seeks a Principal AI Solutions Engineer to design, build, and deploy production-grade AI agents that reason, use tools, and complete end-to-end business tasks within the AI / Digital CoE.

You will partner with business leaders to frame problems, translate SOPs into agent workflows, implement secure integrations with enterprise data sources, and ship measurable improvements in speed, cost, and quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering, automation, or related technical roles delivering production solutions.
• 1+ year hands-on experience with LLM APIs and/or agent frameworks (shipping preferred).
• Experience translating ambiguous workflows into scalable enterprise solutions.
• Strong communication to translate between business needs and technical implementation.

Responsabilités

• Re-imagine enterprise work with an AI-first mindset and diagnose high-value workflows.
• Translate SOPs and decision logic into agent steps (reasoning, execution, validation, escalation).
• Partner with leaders to structure problems, quantify impact, and frame AI solution hypotheses.
• Build AI agents in Python and modern frameworks to complete tasks end-to-end.
• Integrate with APIs, data platforms, and enterprise data sources; ensure secure production deployment.
• Implement guardrails, observability, and reliable operation within Agile delivery cycles.
