Meta seeks experienced engineers to join AI Solutions and Automation + Support (ASA+S) in Menlo Park, CA, applying state-of-the-art AI and autonomous agents to products and support experiences used by billions of people. You will build agents, production-grade platforms, and evaluation systems that ship at scale.

You will collaborate with product, design, operations, and infrastructure teams, implement advanced interfaces, optimize code for performance, and mentor peers while expanding

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years programming experience or 4+ years with a PhD.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with relevant programming languages.
• Experience driving organizational change and leading complex technical projects.
• Masters/PhD in Computer Science or related technical field is preferred.
• Experience with inference infrastructure, model evaluations, agent runtime, or synthetic data generation is a plus.
• Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Understanding of information retrieval concepts (indexing, querying, ranking).
• Knowledge of NLP techniques (text preprocessing, tokenization, sentiment analysis).
• Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (prompt engineering, agent orchestration).
• Experience with responsible, ethical AI practices.

• Implement custom user interfaces using latest programming techniques and technologies.
• Analyze and optimize code for quality, efficiency, and performance; provide feedback during code reviews.
• Set direction and goals for teams; lead major initiatives and mentor peers.
• Architect efficient and scalable systems for complex applications.
• Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues; reduce technical debt.
• Work with multiple languages and technologies.
• Establish ownership of components, features, or systems with end-to-end understanding.
