Job summary

IBM Consulting is seeking an AI Architect to lead a high-visibility, enterprise AI program. You will define the technical direction across multi-workstream AI initiatives, architect solutions spanning Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, and data platforms, and mentor teams on emerging capabilities.

The role emphasizes thought leadership, scalable reference architectures, and strong governance to align business outcomes with AI capabilities in a complex enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience leading enterprise AI deployments.
• Design scalable AI platforms on Azure and AWS.
• Build and operationalize LLM-powered applications.
• Define agentic architectures including multi-agent orchestration and MCP integration.
• Establish CI/CD, model lifecycle management, observability and guardrails.
• Collaborate with business, data, security and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide thought leadership and establish technical direction across a complex AI program.
• Architect AI solutions spanning Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, and enterprise data platforms.
• Develop reference architectures, patterns and reusable assets to accelerate delivery.
• Mentor teams on best practices, design patterns and emerging capabilities.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure AI architectures and governance.
