Job summary

FormFactor, Inc. in Lexington, KY seeks a Principal AI Solutions Engineer to design, deploy, and support AI-enabled software across the enterprise.

You will build production-ready applications, integrate systems, and leverage AI platforms to automate processes and improve decision making. You will collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, Sales and IT to translate business needs into scalable solutions, follow the full SDLC, and ensure security, governance,

Qualifications

• 12+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 8 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience.
• Strong programming experience with Java, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, C#, or similar languages.
• Experience building and consuming APIs and cloud-based services.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and production support.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and support AI-enabled applications, automation solutions, and enterprise software.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify AI opportunities and translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Lead solution delivery through full lifecycle: requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Develop APIs, integrations, workflows, and data-driven solutions using modern software practices.
• Build AI-enabled solutions using enterprise AI platforms and validate AI-generated code for quality and security.
• Troubleshoot, improve reliability, and enhance user experience across applications.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, and Data teams to ensure governance and responsible AI practices.
• Establish reusable development standards and mentor citizen developers for production readiness.
