EPAM Systems is seeking a Technology Consultant/Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with enterprise clients, identifying high-value AI problems and delivering production-ready solutions end-to-end, from discovery to deployment and measurable outcomes.

You will work across AI models, data retrieval, cloud, and enterprise integrations, with specialization in partner platforms like Anthropic, OpenAI, Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock, or Microsoft Foundry, and you’ll mentor teams and shape best practices.

Formación

• Senior-level software engineering with production-grade AI in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on with agentic AI, LLM application development, prompt and context engineering, tool calling, orchestration, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and AI evaluation.
• Daily hands-on use of AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, or GitHub Copilot, with the judgment to review and correct the code they generate.
• Strong backend development skills in at least one of Python, Java, or Node.js, including API design, microservices, and SQL/NoSQL databases, plus frontend skills (React/TypeScript).
• Practical experience with major cloud (AWS/Azure/Google), containers and Kubernetes, CI/CD, and observability.
• Experience designing end-to-end solution architecture with system integration, data flows, security, scalability, and cost.

Responsabilidades

• Embed with client teams to identify high-value problems and own end-to-end delivery.
• Map business processes and decide automation vs human-in-the-loop.
• Assess feasibility and select appropriate AI approach.
• Design end-to-end solution architectures covering models, orchestration, data and retrieval, and security.
• Build, test, and deploy production-grade AI applications on clients' cloud and AI platforms.
• Implement agent workflows, retrieval systems, tool integrations, and guardrails.
• Review AI-generated code with the same rigor as human-written code.
• Lead architecture reviews and solution demonstrations for stakeholders.
• Communicate trade-offs and risks clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Deliver technical documentation and handover for client teams.
