Job summary

Assurant is seeking a Senior Solution Architect (AI) to lead the design and delivery of AI-powered software solutions across enterprise platforms. You will translate complex business requirements into scalable architectures, design AI-driven delivery pipelines, and champion AI adoption across architecture and engineering teams.

You will mentor architects, define architecture standards, collaborate with product and vendor teams, and advance automated governance and infrastructure-as-code

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years of experience across multiple technology disciplines such as cloud computing, application development, databases, middleware, networking, security, and enterprise platforms.
• 3+ years of experience designing and implementing automated software solutions utilizing cloud or hybrid cloud technologies.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or similar technologies.
• 2+ years of experience designing and implementing CI/CD and DevOps automation pipelines.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale cloud and application architectures.
• Willingness to travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology design efforts from concept through implementation.
• Champion AI adoption across architecture and engineering teams.
• Guide teams in applying architecture standards, automation practices, and cloud best practices.
• Support troubleshooting and technical problem-solving throughout the SDLC.
• Collaborate with vendors, product teams, developers, and enterprise architects to ensure successful solution delivery.
