Job summary
Asurion in Sterling, VA (hybrid) is seeking a Solution Architect to provide technical leadership for complex, scalable systems, drive architecture, code quality, and reliability while mentoring engineers. You will partner with product, security, and operations to design resilient platforms, advance engineering standards, and accelerate delivery.
This role requires hands-on development and strong communication.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 8+ years professional software engineering experience.
- Proven track record delivering production systems and leading cross-team initiatives.
- Experience designing scalable, secure, and resilient enterprise architectures.
Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable architectures.
- Design end-to-end technical solutions aligned with platform strategy.
- Identify AI/ML opportunities and design AI-enabled workflows including RAG.
- Develop architecture artifacts, diagrams, APIs, and data flows.
- Lead architecture reviews and mentor engineering teams.
