Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sr. Software Development Manager within the AWS Neuron SDK organization to lead a team that builds components and libraries enabling AI model development on Trainium and Inferentia accelerators.

You will collaborate with Neuron teams and ML model developers to optimize performance and usability, guiding strategic direction and delivering capabilities to ML users and developers at scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience.
• 5+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the full life cycle of developing and releasing components of the AWS Neuron SDK.
• Develop and grow your team to meet the needs of the rapidly changing AI software ecosystem.
• Define strategic directions with executive leadership and deliver new capabilities to ML model developers and users.
