JPMorganChase is seeking a Senior AI Application Engineer to design, productionize, and operate LLM-powered agents on NEO. You will lead a team of engineers, shaping retrieval, memory, and context management while partnering with product and business units to deliver scalable AI solutions in a fast-paced financial environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on system design, production readiness, and strong SDLC practices across AWS/Azure, with governance for security and reliability.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with at least 5+ years applying it.
• Experience leading technologists to manage complex technical items.
• Hands-on system design, development, testing, and operations.
• Advanced Python programming, data structures, ML, and statistics.
• Experience delivering LLM-powered or agentic applications in production.

Responsabilités

• Provide direction, oversight, and coaching for a team of engineers.
• Design and ship production AI agents on NEO from prototype to production.
• Build and maintain production-grade retrieval with Graph RAG and vector search.
• Design agent memory and context management with strict access controls.
• Integrate tools and data via MCP servers and cloud platforms.
• Develop evals, safety gates, and LLM-as-judge frameworks.
• Deploy solutions on AWS/Azure with secure, observable SDLC practices.
• Partner with product and business units to turn use cases into shipped agents.
