Job summary

Refinitiv in Minnesota seeks a Senior Software Engineer, AI, to design and ship AI-driven, enterprise-scale systems across AI orchestration, RAG, and multi-component pipelines. You will build full-stack features, APIs, and modern web UIs, collaborating with AI researchers and product teams.

Requirements include a CS/engineering degree, 5+ years of software engineering with 2+ years building production AI/ML features, strong Java/Spring Boot, React/Vue, Python with PyTorch/TF, and cloud-native

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience with at least 2 years hands-on building production AI/ML or GenAI features (RAG, LLMs, agents).
• Strong proficiency in Java/Spring Boot for backend services and modern front-end frameworks; RESTful APIs, microservices, and API gateways.
• Strong proficiency in Python and practical experience with AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX); experience with MLOps/LLMOps.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform); cloud-native architectures.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship AI-driven systems across enterprise-scale pipelines and RAG architectures.
• Explore and apply emerging AI practices and tech feasibility for AI-driven features.
• Provide technical depth, mentorship, and alignment with team on architecture and roadmap.
• Ensure quality, security, and operational excellence with testing, monitoring, and governance for AI models.
• Partner across disciplines with researchers, engineering leadership, design, and product to optimize performance and user experience.
