Job summary

Allstate is seeking an AI Software Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and support secure AI-powered enterprise apps and intelligent automation. You will work across backend, frontend, and cloud-native architectures, delivering scalable, compliant AI-driven solutions.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, LangChain, RAG, and agentic AI frameworks, plus cloud platforms such as Azure. Collaboration with product, architecture, and security teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience with Python/Java Spring Boot.
• Experience with Generative AI APIs and LangChain/RAG pipelines.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices, and web security.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs.
• Integrate and deploy Generative AI models into production environments.
• Leverage LLMs, Generative AI, Agentic AI, and RAG architectures.
• Fine-tune and optimize LLMs for specific use cases.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams to define technical solutions.
• Integrate AI/ML services and APIs into enterprise applications with best practices.
• Develop intelligent automation solutions to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance application performance and scalability.
• Contribute to technical documentation and architecture discussions.
• Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain high-quality code.
• Actively contribute to software development efforts.
