Job summary

Visa’s Technology Organization is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer focused on leveraging AI to solve complex engineering and customer challenges. You will design, build, and test AI-powered software that scales globally, impacting B2B, B2C, P2P, and G2C flows.

You will mentor teams, drive AI strategy, and collaborate with product, security, and DevOps to deliver robust solutions across Visa’s commercial payment and money movement platforms.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 11+ years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Design AI-powered solutions to boost engineering productivity and customer-facing products across CMS.
• Lead initiatives using agentic AI, LLMs, and ML to automate workflows and improve software quality.
• Collaborate across teams to design artifacts and develop best-in-class software solutions for Visa technologies.
• Drive experimentation with emerging AI technologies and set adoption standards.
