Job summary

Connsci is seeking a Senior AI Software Developer to support one of our federal programs. This role will develop, deploy, and administer AI systems and software solutions to meet the agency's mission, including ML models, NLP systems, and Generative AI with RAG capabilities and API integrations.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in AI delivery, strong Azure DevOps experience, and hands-on ML libraries, with the required Top Secret/Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, information systems, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree.
• At least 7 years of experience in developing and implementing AI solutions.
• At least 3 years of experience with Azure DevOps and AZURE development tools
• At least 3 years of experience with Machine Learning libraries
• At least 3 years of experience with one of more of the following programming languages: Python, R ,or Java
• Current Top Secret, DOE Q, or Public Trust High Risk Tier 4 clearance

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and administer AI systems and software solutions to support the agency's mission.
• Conduct research and development on emerging AI technologies, including ML, DL, and NLP.
• Develop AI software solutions including ML models, NLP systems, and Generative AI/RAG.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web services and interfaces/APIs.
• Version control code and build CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate AI solutions with existing systems and applications.
• Assist with data ingestion, cleansing, labeling, and transformation for model training.
• Collaborate with customers to develop AI models and feature engineering.
• Deploy AI solutions on appropriate infrastructure and provide ongoing maintenance.
• Perform tests, troubleshoot software, and fix bugs.
• Provide training and user documentation for AI-powered systems.
• Keep development records and write SOPs and knowledge base articles.
