Job summary

ClearBridge Technology Group seeks 15 Senior AI Software Developers for initial 12-month contracts. Hybrid work: 3 days onsite in multiple US locations and 2 days remote. Responsibilities include designing and building microservices, rewriting Java/C++ with Claude Code, and implementing RESTful APIs in a hybrid cloud data mesh.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years’ experience, strong Linux development background, and Agile experience. Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes and AWS/Azure is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience with a bachelors degree.
• Experience building and supporting microservices-based systems.
• Experience writing Java and C++, Java being more critical, code using Claude Code or a similar AI tool.
• Prior experience developing Java, C++ or Python on a Linux-based system.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Prior experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop microservices for a mission-critical automation platform.
• Rewrite Java and C++ code using Claude Code or similar AI tooling.
• Implement RESTful APIs and event-driven integrations in a hybrid cloud data mesh.
• Integrate relational and NoSQL databases ensuring data consistency.
• Troubleshoot cross-service issues across APIs and infrastructure layers.
• Contribute to design documents, API specs and runbooks.

Our client, a leading Government Systems Integrator, is in need of 15 Senior AI Software Developers for initial 12 month contracts. This is a hybrid schedule consisting of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote with candidates being located in either Gaithersburg, MD, Egg Township, NJ or Eagan, MN. The Senior AI Software Developers will supporting the development of a mission-critical, future ready automation platform built on a hybrid cloud data mesh architecture. The AI Software Developers will be responsible designing and developing microservices, re-writing Java and C++ code using Claude Code, Implementing RESTful APIs and event-driven integrations within a hybrid cloud data mesh architecture, Integrate relational and NoSQL databases ensuring data consistency, troubleshoot complex issues spanning multiple services, APIs and infrastructure layers, contribute to design documents, API specifications and runbooks, etc.

Required Skills:
