Job summary

Annapurna Labs (U.S.) Inc. in California seeks a modeling engineer to develop high-fidelity C++/SystemC models of AWS AI accelerators and SoCs.

You will translate architecture specs into accurate models and validate them against RTL/silicon, working with DV teams across pre-silicon validation environments. You will collaborate with architects, RTL designers, ML software engineers, and compiler teams to assess tradeoffs and drive architectural decisions, contributing to cycle-approximate

Qualifications

• Experience building functional or performance models of SoCs, ASICs, GPUs, CPUs, or IP blocks.
• Translate architecture specs or reference implementations into C++ or SystemC models.
• Experience correlating models against RTL or silicon; DV teams desired.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-fidelity functional models of AI/ML accelerators and SoC subsystems.
• Validate model behavior against RTL simulations, emulation platforms, or silicon measurements; debug discrepancies.
• Collaborate with design verification teams to integrate models into pre-silicon validation environments.
• Contribute to cycle-approximate performance modeling and evaluate architecture tradeoffs across compute and memory subsystems.
