Job summary

Graphcore is seeking a Senior Semiconductor Reliability Engineer to own the reliability strategy behind AI silicon for datacenter-scale systems. You will shape reliability from technology selection and design enablement through bring-up, qualification and manufacturing.

You will lead risk assessment, failure analysis across silicon, interconnect and package technologies, and mentor teams as Graphcore scales advanced AI hardware platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Strong semiconductor reliability experience across silicon, BEOL, interconnect or advanced package technologies
• Deep understanding of mechanisms such as EM, TDDB, BTI and HCI
• Hands-on experience with HTOL, thermal cycling, thermal shock, reflow testing and JEDEC reliability standards
• Ability to diagnose package defects with X-ray and CSAM analysis for root-cause analysis

Responsibilities

• Own the reliability strategy across advanced silicon nodes and packaging technologies
• Lead qualification and failure analysis across silicon, interconnect and package technologies
• Guide sign-off and risk assessment with foundries, OSATs, labs and internal teams
• Mentor others and help Graphcore scale reliability methods across AI hardware platforms
