Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Software Engineer III - AI services to design and deliver scalable AI capabilities across enterprise domains. You will build multi-agent systems, retrieval-augmented pipelines, and LLM-based workflows powering critical business processes, with deep expertise in AI/ML lifecycle.

You will own end-to-end features, ensure observability and reliability, and collaborate across Finance, Supply Chain, and other teams while advancing the mission of safe human spaceflight.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and AI/ML applications in cloud environments (AWS).
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience designing RAG pipelines, vector databases, embedding models, and retrieval strategies.
• Hands-on experience building multi-agent systems and LLM-based workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, low-latency AI services for metadata generation and feature extraction.
• Develop and deploy agentic AI solutions across enterprise domains.
• Build and manage vector database infrastructure and embedding pipelines.
• Create models for computer vision and content understanding using DL/Transformers.
• Own end-to-end features from estimation to deployment and post-launch metrics.
• Improve observability, testing, and CI/CD with infrastructure-as-code.
