Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced software engineer to design and build Agentic AI-powered enterprise systems. You will develop complex software in Java, C#, or Python, architect AI workflows, and shape production planning and inventory solutions for aerospace manufacturing.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure systems, including web interfaces and AI-enabled automation with safeguards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience with Java, C#, or Python.
• Experience leading design and architecture for new and existing systems.
• Experience with cloud-based architectures and containerized workloads (prefer AWS).
• Strong CS fundamentals and ability to deliver code with evolving requirements.
• Interest in AI/ML and rapid experimentation; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex software systems and infrastructure, primarily in .Net, Java or Python.
• Architect, build, and deploy Agentic AI solutions across enterprise domains.
• Design AI agent architectures with human-in-the-loop safeguards.
• Develop production planning and inventory-related systems for plant operations.
• Build web interfaces using Angular or React.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to accelerate vehicle development and operations.
• Integrate RESTful services, AI/ML APIs, and messaging for scalable workflows.
• Evaluate emerging AI tech and maintain system reliability and security.
