Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Software Development Manager to lead a hybrid team at the forefront of AI security and risk management. You will shape systems that audit, report on, and remediate AI-associated risks across our AI ecosystem.

You will partner with security, compliance, and research teams to raise the bar on safety, reliability, and trust, while coaching Applied Scientists and Software Development Engineers to deliver production-grade security solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience.
• 5+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 10+ years of planning, designing, developing and delivering consumer software experience.
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive the development of systems that identify, assess, and mitigate security vulnerabilities across AI infrastructure and applications.
• Build automated tools and frameworks that detect risks and implement corrective measures at scale.
• Define security standards and engineering practices for AI systems throughout their lifecycle.
• Collaborate with security, compliance, and research teams to address evolving threats and challenges.
