Ladders seeks a Senior Research Scientist - AI Security to advance research at the intersection of AI and cybersecurity. This remote US-based role focuses on safety, resilience, and trust in modern AI systems.

You will investigate threats in generative AI workflows and traditional software environments, translate findings into practical defenses, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen our technology offerings.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in machine learning, cybersecurity, or closely related fields.
• Proven programming expertise.
• Strong knowledge of AI and conventional software vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies.
• In-depth understanding of Generative AI workflows.
• Ability to clearly present complex technical information.
• Self-starter with a passion for growth and continuous learning.
