Job summary

VulnU in Irvine, CA seeks a Senior Software Development Engineer III to own cross-team AI/ML systems and drive production-grade delivery. You will craft orchestration layers, integrate models and data sources, and optimize for latency, reliability, observability, cost, and security.

You will mentor teammates, shape technical direction, and partner with AWS service teams to ship scalable solutions used by enterprise customers. This role embeds with customers from day one.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 7+ years of programming with at least one software programming language.
• 7+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
• Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences and with customers.

Responsibilities

• Embed with customers to understand how they operate and their needs.
• Design and ship production-grade AI systems powered by large language models and agent frameworks.
• Lead architecture decisions for cross-team projects used by enterprise customers.
• Mentor engineers and turn patterns into reusable accelerators.
• Ensure latency, reliability, observability, cost, and security across the stack.
