Job summary

Snowflake seeks a Senior Security Engineer focused on Product Security Incident Response to lead AI-focused IR across Cortex AI, Snowflake Intelligence, and data pipelines. You will architect and implement incident response capabilities, drive security playbooks, and partner with AI and security teams to embed security from design through deployment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in information security, incident command for product incidents, and experience securing AI/ML systems in cloud

Qualifications

• 5+ years of information security experience, incident response or product security.
• Experience as incident commander for product-focused security incidents.
• Experience leading or building an application or security engineering program.
• Experience with threat modeling and security testing for AI attack surfaces.
• Familiarity with data governance in LLMs, RAG, agentic systems.
• Cloud-native environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) knowledge.
• SQL proficiency; experience with automation and Python.
• Strong communication to translate risk into guidance.
• Empathy for developer experience to ship securely.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident response for product-level AI security events.
• Integrate IR into AI product pipelines from design to deployment.
• Define AI abuse response strategies and playbooks.
• Address tech debt to ensure IR readiness in Cortex/agentic tech.
• Represent IR to cloud eng, AI platform teams, and customers.
• Secure AI-native codebases across multi-cloud environments.
• Guide secure architecture for high-impact AI features.
• Design and manage response capabilities in AI Infra.
• Drive security outcomes for Snowflake customers.
