Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Cybersecurity Forward Deployed Engineer in New York to embed with client security and engineering teams. You will own outcomes: reduce attack surface, secure production AI systems, and drive measurable security posture improvements.

In this role, you will lead architecture design, threat modeling, and governance for AI deployments, using tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot. Travel may be 0–100% depending on engagements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years engineering experience in production environments with cybersecurity depth
• 2+ years hands-on design/deployment of agentic AI solutions
• 8+ years end-to-end security delivery ownership
• 8+ years cloud security experience across AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture design sessions and threat modeling workshops
• Build AI-powered security tooling and governance automation
• Own AI-specific threat surface management at programme scale
• Define and publish reusable security patterns and playbooks
• Communicate security risk to C-suite and lead client engagements
• Travel may be required (0–100%)
