Job summary

The Intersect Group is seeking a Senior AI Security Engineer in Irving, TX, to secure AI-powered products across the full development lifecycle. You will design and implement security controls for AI/ML environments, working with Engineering, Privacy, and Compliance teams.

Requirements include 3+ years in AI/ML security, strong cloud security experience, and hands-on Python. Hybrid work setup with a focus on secure CI/CD and governance for AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience securing AI/ML, LLM, RAG, or AI-enabled apps.
• Hands-on cloud security experience (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience designing security controls for modern apps, APIs, or AI environments.
• 5+ years in Security Engineering, Application Security, Cloud Security, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement security requirements for AI/ML development, training, deployment, and monitoring.
• Conduct threat modeling for AI-enabled products and services.
• Design secure patterns for LLMs, RAG, AI agents, and model APIs.
• Implement controls for model access, secrets, and tenant isolation.
• Secure cloud AI platforms, model registries, and deployment pipelines.
• Develop monitoring, logging, and alerting standards for AI platforms.
• Create response playbooks for AI security incidents.
• Lead security reviews for AI initiatives and vendor assessments.
