Job summary

Kudu Dynamics, a Leidos-owned company, seeks a Security Engineer to own the security posture of environments for AI-cyber capabilities. You will be embedded with software engineers, reverse engineers, and vulnerability researchers, guiding secure development and threat modeling.

You will lead build integrity reviews, supply chain security, and tooling evolution with Python-based integrations, while scaling threat detection and secure deployment across on-prem and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Extensive Linux security hardening experience across OS and network layers.
• Strong Python scripting ability for tooling and automation.
• Solid understanding of network protocols, cryptography, and key management.
• Hands-on experience with IaC and container platforms (Ansible/Terraform, Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience administering or securing CI/CD systems (GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Own the security posture of environments used for building, testing, and delivering AI-cyber capabilities.
• Embed with software engineers and vulnerability researchers; harden infrastructure and pipelines.
• Guide secure development, perform threat modeling, and review build integrity and supply chains.
• Develop and maintain vulnerability tooling, with emphasis on continuous ATO workflows.
• Collaborate to scale threat detection and response using Python integrations and AI/LLM tooling.
• Support ongoing vulnerability management and secure development practices.
