Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced Security Engineer to embed AI security across data, tools, and processes. You will partner with product and engineering teams to design reusable controls, perform adversarial testing, and develop evidence-based security patterns for scalable deployment.

You will lead threat modeling, implement practical controls, and help shape risk-informed decisions while collaborating with risk and product leaders in a hybrid, travel‑friendly environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant security experience.
• Hands-on ownership of production security controls.
• Experience securing cloud environments and data pipelines.
• Ability to model threats and translate into practical measures.
• Proven cross‑functional collaboration with product and risk teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and work in a hybrid setting.

Responsibilities

• Set the security direction with reusable AI security patterns and threat models.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams early in design.
• Create practical patterns for identity, access, and recovery.
• Embed security across data lifecycles and controls.
• Integrate automated tests, policy gates, and safe rollbacks.
• Conduct adversarial testing and translate findings into tests.
• Develop runtime protection using behavioral signals and evidence.
• Support vulnerability triage and incident response with evidence.
• Provide concise risk recommendations to leadership.
• Build reusable security capabilities and reference implementations.
