Job summary

Medallia, the pioneer in Experience Management, seeks a Senior Staff Product Security Engineer to lead AI security strategy and assurance for AI-powered products. You will partner with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Data Science, and Security teams to embed security by design across the SDLC.

The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in application security, threat modeling, and security architecture with a strong understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, and secure system design.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Product Security, Application Security, Security Architecture, or Security Engineering.
• Proven experience operating at Staff or Senior Staff level within a technology organization.
• Demonstrated expertise in Threat Modeling, Security Architecture Reviews, Application Security, Cloud Security, Secure SDLC, Vulnerability Management, Secure Design Principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI Security reviews for Generative AI, LLM-powered features, AI agents and BYOM capabilities.
• Shape threat modeling across critical product and platform initiatives and scale across engineering teams.
• Own and evolve Product Security assurance activities including security reviews, assessments, AI security reviews, and testing strategies.
• Establish secure development standards and drive secure coding practices across engineering teams.
• Identify opportunities to automate security reviews and define metrics for AI security programs.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Data Science, Privacy, Legal, Compliance, and Operations to influence technical direction.
