Job summary

AXIS Capital is seeking a security-focused engineer to design, develop, and operationalize secure AI capabilities in risk and security operations. You will build AI-powered security agents, identify high-value use cases, and continuously validate agent performance in real-world operations.

You will enforce strong security controls for enterprise AI platforms, mitigate AI-specific risks, and establish evaluation practices for accuracy, explainability, and audit logging.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 5+ years in cybersecurity, data protection, or security engineering.
• Experience designing and securing enterprise AI platforms.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and maintain AI-powered security agents to augment workflows.
• Ensure governance and data protection across AI platforms and tools.
• Implement access controls and zero-trust principles for AI-driven processes.
• Monitor AI platform activity, detections, and incident response workflows.
• Integrate AI agent workflows with SIEM/XDR for context enrichment.
