Job summary

Cato Networks is hiring a Senior Software Developer to build scalable systems across infrastructure, backend services, and UI/UX. You will own major features end-to-end, mentor engineers, and contribute to a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in Python, Node.js, or Go, plus 3+ years AWS/Kubernetes/RDS experience and a CS/engineering degree or equivalent. You’ll join a fast-growing team focusing on secure cloud networking and AI-enabled security

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on programming in Python, Node.js, or Go.
• 3+ years working with AWS, Kubernetes, and RDS.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent experience from a technological army unit.
• Proven experience leading major projects: owned significant codebases or systems and delivered them to production.
• Fullstack mindset: able to cross infra/devops/backend/frontend boundaries and see problems end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Own and run major features and subsystems end-to-end — take ideas from concept to production and beyond (monitoring, iteration, refinement).
• Work across the full stack: infrastructure, platform, backend services, APIs, and UI/UX. Shift between deployment reliability and user experience.
• Drive team culture of ownership, craftsmanship, iteration and delivery: ship real value and own the outcome.
• Mentor and support other engineers: promote maintainability, scalability, reliability, and product thinking.
